Competition Terms and Conditions

1. These terms and conditions apply to “WIN a Weekend at The Ayrshire Loft in association with Ayrshire Magazine” competition featured in any publications and online services that are organised by Cloncaird Castle and The Ayrshire Magazine.
2. By entering a competition-entrants accept these terms and conditions together with any specific instructions and terms for such competition which may be mentioned in any electronic messages, or on the website, or communicated to entrants in any other way (“competition information”). Such competition information shall prevail in the event of there being any inconsistency between these competition terms and conditions and any competition information.
3. Entries submitted through agents or third parties or in bulk (i.e. more entries than a human being could submit in the time available without the use of software or other devices designed to make automated entries or, in the case of postal entries, more than one entry submitted under the same postage stamp) will not be accepted.
4. The promoter is: Cloncaird Castle whose registered office is at The Estate Office, Cloncaird Castle, Kirkmichael, Ayrshire, KA19 7LU.
5. The competition is open to anyone aged 18 years or over except employees of Cloncaird Castle and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
6. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

8. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
9. Closing date for entry will be 29th Feb 2020. After this date then no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
10. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
11. To enter the competition all entrants will have to use a competition form via website ( the website link) or re-tweet, comment and use #AyrshireLoft on Twitter, comment and like page on Facebook, share and comment on Instagram.
12. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
13. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
14. There is one prize in total, which is as follows:

Two-night stay at The Ayrshire Loft at Cloncaird Castle for a maximum of two people to be booked via The Estate Office. The free booking will be valid to use at any time during the normal operational times within one year of announcing the winner. The winner will have an access free of charge to fridge of goodies and an Arran Aromatic Gift Box.

15. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
16. Winners will be chosen at random by software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents by 29th Feb 2020.
17. The winner will be notified by email, and announced on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
18. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

20. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
21. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
22. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK Data Protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
23. The winner’s name will be available 28 days after closing date by emailing the following address: events@cloncairdcastle.com.
24. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
25. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Cloncaird Castle and not to any other party. 26. Cloncaird Castle shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
27. Cloncaird Castle also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
